"Education Is The Fundamental Right Of Every Child" Balikumbat DO
"Education is the fundamental right of every child and any person depriving a child of going to school will be sanctioned according to the laid down rules n regulations enforced by the International Community and the government of Cameroon. These children you see here today will be the leaders of Cameroon tomorrow. No one, I repeat no one, on no occasion prevent them from going to school", Said Mr Forbi Enoh Fritz, Divisoional Officer of Balikumbat during commemorative activities on February 11, 2022, at the Balikumbat grandstand as he addresses those still keeping children home.

Let these beautiful and handsome children be sent to school for there their future is not at home or in the bushes", the DO continued. He on the youth of Balikumbat to be ambassadors and crusaders of peace, thereby encouraging them to be serious in school. Mr Forbi Enoh Fritz challenges educators of both the primary and secondary schools and other sectors to be present in their respective duty posts as they educate the community to respect Government Prescribed barrier measures against Covid-19.

Present during the celebration was the Mayor of Balikumbat, Gahwanyin Theophile and the Member of Parliament, Hon Banmi Dinga Emmanuel. Balikumbat subdivision is made of five villages namely; Bafanji, Baligansin, Baligashu, Bamunkumbit and Balikumbat which is the headquarter found in the n Ngoketunjia division of the North West Region.
